Krishna Gana Sabha To Hold Veterans’ Concerts

CHENNAI, March 14: In what is considered a welcome move by artistes
and rasikas alike, Sri Krishna Gana Sabha has decided to organize
a series of year-long Veterans Day Programme.
The series will see Sri Krishna Gana Sabha holding a concert
of a veteran artiste every month on a chosen day. The objective
is to provide an opportunity for the modern day rasikas to listen
to the music of stalwarts.
The first concert of this veteran series will take place on
March 22.
It will feature S. Rajam, who will present Koteeswara Iyer kritis.
N. Ananthanarayanan will play the veena and J. Vaidyanathan
the mridangam.
