Parthasarathy Sabha To Hold Thyagaraja Fete
CHENNAI, March 21: Sri Parthasarathy Swami Sabha is organizing
a two-day Thyagaraja music festival here. It will commence on
March 22. The venue will be Mylapore Fine Arts Club Hall.
On March 22, the festival will commence with the rendition of
Pancharatna kritis by P.S. Narayanaswami and his disciple. In
the evening, there will be a concert of veteran vocalist T.N.
Seshagopalan.
The Sabha has also announced that it will observe Purandaradasa
Day on March 25. On the evening of March 25, Udayalur Kalyanarama
Bhagavatar will render namasankeertanams on Purandaradasa kritis.
