Hyderabad Brothers to perform at Alapana Festival

CHENNAI, April 7: Singapore-based Alapana is set to celebrate
its 9th anniversary in July. Every year Alapana holds concerts
to mark its anniversary celebrations. This time around, it is
planning to hold a special vocal music concert by Hyderabad
Brothers, says a release from Alapana.
The concert this time will be held in memory of Dr. S. Ramanathan.
The vocal concert by Hyderabad brothers - D.Seshachary and D.Raghavachary
– will have violin support from B.S.Narayanan.
V. Raghuraman will accompany on the Mridangam. S. Selvapandian
will play the Kanjira.
The concert will be held on the evening of July 5. The venue
will be Singapore Polytechnic Auditorium. |

for teaching positions in Carnatic music - vocal, veena, violin
and Bharatanatyam. Professionally qualified candidates with

by renowned gurus will have an advantage, the release says.
