Shanthi Arts to hold RTP competition
CHENNAI, May 3: Mylapore-based Shanthi Arts Foundation and Endowments
is planning to hold an all-India `Ragam, Thanam and Pallavi'
(RTP) competition on August 2 and 3.
The competition will be held at Srinivasa Sastri Hall here.
The competition is open to vocal, violin and mridangam artistes
in the age group of 15 to 30 years. It is open to both professionals
and non-professionals.
Shanthi Arts Foundation and Endowments is a cultural and charitable
organization.
A release said separate prizes would be given in the aforesaid
three categories.
