Violin ensemble at Sri Rama Seva Mandali fest
CHENNAI, May 9: Frontline violin artiste A. Kanyakumari will
lead a band of 70 violinists to present a recital in the ongoing
Rama Navami Festival in Bangalore.
The 70-violin ensemble will take place on May 10 to commemorate
the 70th year of Sri Rama Navami Festival.
The venue will be Fort High School, Chamarajapet in Bangalore.
The Rama Navami Festival is organized by the Bangalore-based
Sri Rama Seva Mandali.
This year’s festival began on April 7. It will continue
till May 14. Leading Carnatic musicians have given concerts
this year.
