AIR to organize music competion
CHENNAI, May 26: All-India Radio (AIR) will organize a music
competition to discover fresh talents. The competition is open
for those in the age group of 18 to 24 years (as on June 29).
The contest will cover Carnatic, devotional, light, folk, Hindustani
and chorus music.
Those who wish to take part in the competition are requested
to get the application forms from the nearest AIR stations.
There is an entry fee of Rs.100, which can be paid through Money
Order. The last date for submitting the application is June
13.
