Swara Murthy V.N. Rao Award for Rudrapatnam
brothers
BANGALORE, June 20: Vocalists Rudrapatnam brothers have been
chosen for this year's Swara Murthy V.N. Rao Award. The Award
is instituted by the Bangalore-based Swara Murthy V.N. Rao Memorial
Trust. The Award is sponsored by Dr. A.H. Rama Rao. The Award
is presented every year to a senior vocalist. The Award carries
a cash prize of Rs.50,000.
V. Ramarathnam, T.K. Govinda Rao, R.K. Srikanta and T. V. Sankaranarayanan
were among the recipeints of this Award.
