Maiden mridangam concert by Rishikesh Tirumalai
CHENNAI, July 2: Chiranjeevi Rishikesh Tirumalai, a disciple
of Dr.Ramachandran Suresh, will give his maiden mridangam concert
(arengatram) on July 6, 2008 at 6.15 p.m at the Mini Hall of
Music Academy in Chennai. He will provide percussion support
for renowned violin artistes and disciples of Lalgudi Jayaraman,
Lalgudi Vijaya Lakshmi and Vittal Ramamurthy. Dr. S. Karthick
will play the ghatam. Padmabushan Lalgudi G. Jayaraman will
be the guest of honour and Kalaimamani Srimushnam Rajarao the
chief guest.
