S.V. Krishnan, the founder of Naada Inbam, was born in the month of April. Naada Inbam has lined up a series of concerts in memory of S.V. Krishnan. And, these are being held at Ragasudha Hall, Mylapore. “We have many interesting and unexpected programmes happening at Ragasudha Hall. With the pandemic receding (thanks to vaccines), we had the courage to invite senior veteran artistes Smt.R.Vedavalli, Smt. Suguna Varadachari and Smt. Seetha Narayanan. To the great joy of all of us, each one of these vidhushis has also graciously accepted to perform for us. Listening to these veterans is a fantastic treat for the fans of Carnatic music, who have been starved of live concerts for so long,” a statement from Naada Inbam said. “We also have bright star performers gracing our Ragasudha this month. I invite rasikas to attend our concerts and if they miss out on a concert they could catch up as always, on the Parivadini music youtube channel,” it said. The concert series, which begins on April 10, will last till April 18. The concerts will be held in the evening. It will feature artists such as Sumitra Vasudev, C. Charulatha (veena), Vivek Sadasivam, Abhirama Bode, Ashwath Narayanan, Suguna Varadachari-V. Bharat Kumar duet, Seetha Narayanan, Aishwarya Vidya Raghunath and Shruti S Bhat.
