After a gap of two years, Sree Ramaseva Mandali has returned to host its annual music festival in Bengaluru. The Mandalli could not hold its annual music festival for two years due to Covid-19. With the removal of restrictions, the Mandali has commenced its 84th edition of music festival at Old Fort High School Ground with the inaugural concert by Unnikrishnan. The festival will go on till May 2. Incidentally, the sister-duo Ranjani and Gayathri has been chosen for the Rama Gana Kalacharya National Award. Some of the top Carnatic musicians such as violin duo Lalgudi Vijayalakshmi & Lalgudi G.J.R. Krishnan, Sandeep Narayan, Sikkil Gurucharan, Abhishek Raghuraman, Vishaka Hari and others are slated to give concerts during the month-long festival.
