Isai Velvi 2008 kick-starts
The three-day `Isai Velvi 2008' , a maiden event of Ghatam V. Suresh-promoted the International Society for Laya Awareness (ISLA) , begins at Raga Sudha Hall, Luz Avenue, Mylapore, this afternoon.
`Svanubhava' - Not just an event but an experience to cherish
The maiden six-day music festival "Svanubhava", spread across three venues in the city of Chennai, came to an end on August 10, 2008 at the famed Music Academy. As the curtain was coming down, the students and artistes who participated in the event turned emotional.

V.B.Bhavna of SBOA School, Annanagar, presented a vocal performance for the Sundaram Finance Sunday Kutcheri at Nageswara Rao Park in Mylapore on August 3, 2008. She was accompanied by Thalaignayar S Harishkumar on the mridangam and by J. Shraddha Ravindran on the violin.

As part of the mike-less Sundaram Finance Sunday Kutcheri in the Park, V.B. Bhavna, a class nine student from SBOA School, Anna Nagar, will present a Carnatic music performance at the Nageswara Rao Park at Mylapore this Sunday (August 3, 2008) between 6.30 a.m. and 7.30 a.m.
20 students from Pammal to perform at Sundaram Finance Sunday Kutcheri in the Park
As part of the Sundaram Finance Sunday Kutcheri in the Park, about 20 students from Sri Sankara Vidyalaya Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Pammal will present a Carnatic music performance this Sunday (July 6) at the Nageswara Rao Park in Mylapore between 6.30 a.m. and 7.30 a.m.
