Celebratory event in honour of vidwan Venkataraghavan on February 1 at Bangalore Gayana Samaj
BANGALORE, January 29: A celebratory event in Vidwan Mysore Govinda Rao Venkataraghavan’s honour for being awarded the Karnataka Government’s Rajotsava Award is being held on February 1 at the Bangalore Gayana Samaj. It is like a nadopasana for students - students will sing and showcase their talents at the function.

Sri Vekataraghavan is also taking this opportunity to honour eminent Carnatic musician Dr. T.S. Satyavati and a patron of Carnatic music, H.L.N. Rao, for their contribution to fostering the art. Sri Venkataraghavan will also mark the occasion with his concert in the evening.
