Canada honours Lata Pada
10 Apr 2009: Indian-Canadian dancer and choreographer Lata Pada has been given the Canada’s highest civilian award, Order of Canada. Toronto-based Lata Pada, who hails from Bangalore, was chosen for the award in recognition of her contributions to the development of South-Asian dance.
