People from across the country visit Tiruvaiyaru during this annual Thyagaraja aradhana. Some make it a point to go to Tiruvarur to visit the house where the Saint was born. The house is situated closer to the Thyagaraja temple at Tiruvarur. On Sunday, a team from Karnataka visited the the Saint's house in Tiruvarur and sang a few of his kritis. The road in front of the house could have been better laid. The house where the Saint was born was shorn of any festivity. It needs to be made an heritage house.
